From a simple setup in 2019 to a Penang academy with graduates working across Malaysia and overseas.

    Humble Beginnings

    Potion Lab began with a simple setup and a big vision.

What students and parents usually ask before they visit.

The programme is completed over 6 months.

Anyone with a genuine interest in bartending and mixology is welcome to apply. No prior industry experience is required.

No. No prior knowledge or experience is required. Our programme is designed for beginners.

Classes are primarily conducted in Chinese.

Each class is limited to a maximum of 6 students to provide a more focused and hands-on learning experience.

Students who successfully complete the programme will receive a Diploma in Mixology Arts & Entrepreneurship.

Yes. Internship placement opportunities are available through our hospitality industry network, including selected five-star hotels, subject to availability and the respective employer's requirements.

Graduates can pursue career opportunities as professional bartenders across the hospitality and F&B industry, including bars, restaurants and hotels.

Yes. We provide overseas career pathways and guidance for graduates interested in pursuing international opportunities. Opportunities are subject to individual eligibility, visa requirements and employer availability.

We have four intakes per year — January, April, July and October.

Our academy is located in Bayan Lepas, Penang Island, Malaysia.
